Princess

Hi there, I have been playing with stencils and creating backgrounds then adding to them.
This one I used two different stencils and Gelatos over the top of the texture paste image in pastels and grey for the words.

Heidi Swapp embellishments went so well together.

I created this two years ago just for fun using my new stencils and forgot to post lol

I really liked using the two stencils together and the pastel colours was nice. I will have to do that again.

Hidden journaling behind the photo in a glassine bag.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy a creative day!

Fancy that

Good morning, how is your August going?
My son turns 15 tomorrow! Amazing how they grow up so fast!
This one is all about the girls though which uses this sketch, mood board and female subject.

Let me say I really loved this sketch and have never placed a extra photo down in the corner so it was nice to do something different. I liked the results, once again using my older range of pattern papers.

For the background I used texture paste through a diamond stencil and added water colour paint in blue and gold sprinkles using Heidi color Shine.

Let's get inspired and create something you love, we can't wait to see them all. Here is the link to the challenge at Let's Get Sketchy.

Remember this moment

Good morning, How are you?
Here is a layout of my older son I completed a few years ago and thought I would share. It was a bit different from what I was scrapping at the time. I liked how I could add the larger instagram photo.

It's a good idea to use up your older stash, I must be good at hoarding because I have so much. So much potential just waiting on my shelves!
This year I'm planning to scrapbook a lot of my collections.

Here are some close ups. I love that metal charm of the clocks and cogs.

Thanks for stopping by.

Love this girl

Good Morning, how are you? I have created and put into draft layouts I completed just because, a few years ago. So I have decided to just share them. These were my mixed media layouts I was learning from.

I used texture paste and a stencil to cover the whole background and then used Gelatos to add the colour. Some close ups:

#Selfie

Hi there, how are you?
WOW!!
This is an older layout I created a few years ago and it's bright! I love how the black embellishments add to the drama and still is seen with all the colours.

I used a stencil Flowers by Donna Downey and black paint for the background flowers
Washi tape border and chalkboard tags.

Close ups.

I painted the wood veeners black.

Thanks for stopping by.

Handsome and charming

Hi there, how are you? Ready for a new challenge!
This one has a twist just to keep our creative minds active. It's a sketch/ mood board challenge with a twist. Using this sketch, mood board and our photo will be of a male subject.

Here is the great sketch and below the mood board to be inspired from. My inspiration was from some of the colours and the transport wall stickers.

I had a lot of fun again going through my oldie but goodie stash of papers. My subject is my adorable nephew. I like the photo as it also shows in the background my children with their cousins.

Who knew the wood veneer paper airplanes from Rainbow Splendour I added to this layout would match this paper so many years after I brought it. Perfect match!

Come and join in with Let's Get Sketchy, we can't wait to see what you create!!
